The KME Color Run is one of our students' favorite days of the year! During this high-energy event, students run, jog, or walk around the course while getting showered with bright, colorful chalk along the way. It's a day full of laughter, school spirit, and awesome memories.
More than just a fun event, the Color Run is one of the PTO's largest fundraisers of the year. Every dollar raised helps provide enriching opportunities and meaningful improvements that benefit all KME students throughout the school year.
Thanks to the incredible support of our KME community, past Color Run fundraisers have helped make projects and experiences possible, including a new kindergarten playground, new playground turf, educational programs from the Cincinnati Zoo and COSI, and so much more.
Again this year, we're partnering with Get Movin'® to make fundraising easy with a secure, mobile-friendly platform that allows family and friends to support our students from anywhere.

Send in a plain white t-shirt for your student to wear during the color run. On event day, they will change into their shirts at school.
We recommend having your child wear dark shorts and older gym shoes— they will get dirty. Please send your student with a change of clothes for after the event.
We need 100% of students to be registered. Each registered student will receive a spirit stick!

Funds raised this year will go toward classroom improvements, flexible furniture, and in-school programs.
Families have the opportunity to purchase cups of color powder to toss on their child at the event!
1 Cup - $2.00
6 Cups - $10.00
At the event, there will be a table dedicated to handing out color cups to those that purchased.
Powder cups must be purchased online and will not be available for sale at the event.
Volunteers are needed for this event to be successful! This is the perfect opportunity to come out and have fun while supporting KME!

Families are invited to cheer on their student(s) during the color run. A parent or guardian may check out their student for the day following their designated color run time. Students must be checked out with their teacher.
For the safety of all students, any student that is checked out must leave immediately, and cannot stay to watch other grade levels participate in the color run.
HOW TO PICK UP YOUR COLOR CUP(S) ON EVENT DAY: There will be a table dedicated to handing out powder cups to those who purchase them. A copy or screenshot of your order can be brought to simplify the pickup process.
