Meet the 2024-2025 PTO Executive Board

President: Erin Miller

My name is Erin Miller. New to the district, I became involved with the PTO in 2018 when my oldest began kindergarten. This year he will be a 4th grader. I also have a second grade boy, and my baby girl is starting kindergarten. In my first year I simply volunteered as a helper for various events the PTO puts on for students and parents. In my second year I took on the role of Room Parent Coordinator. I have loved getting to know teachers and parents in this position. I continue to chair this position. Chairing a position also allowed me to get to know the executive members of the board and made me feel comfortable in taking my current role as VP of Fundraising. Outside of school you can find my husband, Bryon and I at all of our children’s activities, including, tennis, dance, gymnastics, la crosse, basketball, baseball, and football. This year I have taken on coaching my daughters cheer squad. I am always looking for opportunities to contribute. I am a people person and truly love being involved in the community.

Past President: Sarah Davis

My name is Sarah Davis. We have lived in the Kings Community for 15 years now, and absolutely love it!  My husband, Ryan Davis and I have three children.  Cameryn is a freshman at Kings HS, Tyler is a 5th grader at Columbia, and Parker is in 1st grade at KME.  Myles role here at KME started small, by just attending PTO meetings, then helped with a couple small committees. I quickly realized that working these events helped me get to know so many family members and staff.  I have helped plan and carry out most events here at KME (so if you have any questions…send them my way!!!) I look forward to serving as past president of this current board!  Go Knights!

Parliamentarian: Emily Wilking

Hi, my name is Emily Wilking. My family has lived in the kings school district for the past 5 years. My husband Kyle and I have three kids—Hunter (4th), Mason (2nd) and Hayden (preschool). I have been volunteering in some capacity since Hunter was in Kindergarten. He is now in 4th grade and my role as volunteer has greatly expanded. I absolutely love being a part of Knight Nation but especially KME. This will be my 2nd year on the PTO board. I’ll also continue my role as Watch Dog Coordinator and help plan school events such as the Color Run and Extravaganza. Outside of PTO, you can find me at Orange Theory Fitness, with my husband cheering on our kids at all their sporting events and spending time with family and friends.

Communications Secretary: Kristen Macks

Hello! My name is Kristen Macks. I have two boys- Charlie (5th) and Archie (3rd). I am happy to serve on the board as Communications Secretary for my third year. I created this website a couple of years ago in an effort to keep parents informed about all the wonderful things happening at KME! Getting involved in the PTO is a great way to meet new people and have an impact on our kids and Kings community. Outside of the PTO, I facilitate social skills groups as a counselor through our private group psychology practice. I also enjoy working with businesses to create marketing materials and websites. As a family, we love all the sports and spending time with our big dogs, Yogi and Louie. And our cat, Stripey. And our hermit crabs, Fred and Jeff. Okay, so our house is kind of a zoo, haha. Go Knights!

Vice President of Enrichment: Erin Whittington

My name is Erin Whittington.  My husband, Kurt, and I have a daughter in 9th grade, a son in 6th, and a son in 2nd grade. We enjoy traveling as a family to visit national parks, hiking, biking, and being a part of a myriad of activities including cheer, baseball, soccer, gymnastics, ninja warrior, cyclocross, and volleyball.

I work part time as a mechanical engineer for a consulting firm, as well as substitute teacher in Kings, and teach gymnastics and ninja warrior at the YMCA.

This will be my 10th year as a part of KME. I have been so thankful to be a part of this school, and for all those PTO parents that have worked tirelessly in all those years.

This is my second year on the board. My primary responsibility is to organize programs to come to the school to enrich our kids learning experience. Programs range from Zoo animal visits, Cincinnati Museum Center programs, to aquarium programs.

I was slow to get involved at the school, but am so glad I have. I enjoy getting to know other parents and the staff here at KME. It is never too late to get involved!
